DerDiver - Recruiting with a sense of humor.

An unexpected thank you

I started this website with the sole purpose of having a place to store my articles, thoughts, and frustrations.  I decided to not put in a comments section as I believed if you had something to say you could just send it to me.  This person did. I am truly grateful.

Comments: Regarding your article "I just wanted to say thank you." ... BRAVO! I just finished a five-month project with United Way Worldwide during which I wrote a short book AN A-TO-Z GUIDE ON SAYING THANKS ... to your coworkers, partners, clients ... everyone! And I wanted to add this: as a recruiter, you certainly DESERVE thanks every day. Because you really do change people's lives--in a way that really hits home: you help them get work so they can support their families, contribute to causes they believe in, and SURVIVE. If people forget to thank you, it's not because you didn't make a real difference: it's because they're tied up inside with everything else demanding their energy, and they simply forgot it was important. :)
